Barrel total opening rectangular section. Dimensions of body and cover made in accordance with European standards. The rectangular barrel compared with the round shaped barrel shows the following advantages:
- a better palletization: on a pallet 1000x1200 6 rectangular barrels instead of 5 round shaped barrels can be placed: a better use of the pallet as well as 20% more room is so obtained.
- a better container stowage: in one Iso container 20' 144 rectangular barrels instead of 120 round shaped barrels can be placed: this means having 20% more room.
The body, cover and ring have been designed to show an excellent resistance to falls. The barrel can be easily moved, perfect to be piled up and palletized. The guarantee seal is easy to be inserted in its proper seat.

Barrel body manufactured in high density and molecular weight (HDPE HMW) highly resistant to chemical products. Cover made of polyetylene high density (HDPE). Fixing ring and closing lever made of zinc - plated steel.

The barrel type ,is usable in accordance with earth (ADR-RID, by sea ( IMO - IMDG), by plane (IATA-ICAO) transport for the delivery of products considered dangerous by UNO.
